Which Documents Refugees Need to Apply for a Work Permit?

If you are a refugee residing in Turkey under temporary or international protection, you can apply for a work 6 months after your registration with the Migration Management Office. These are the documents you should provide

> An International Protection Applicant Identity Document, kimlik, with a foreigner identity number. If you do not know your foreigner identity number, please click here

> A copy of your passport: If you do not hold a valid passport, first you should contact your countries Consulate General in Turkey.  

> A photograph

> A contract signed between the employer and the employee. Please visit the website of the Ministry of Labor for prepared formats in Turkish and Arabic.

The rest of the documents should be provided by your employer.
